Anna Halarewicz is a professional illustrator based in Warsaw, Poland. She graduated from one of Poland’s top universities – the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. Anna has taught at the School of Form in Poznan and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.
Anna’s work channels femininity, both strong, sensual, poetic and dark. She enjoys working with a range of mediums including acrylic and watercolor but her main medium continues to be ink.
Her illustrations and paintings have been exhibited in Warsaw, Krakow, Poznan, Milan, London and Paris. Her commercial clients include Moët et Chandon, Triumph, Omega Watches and Ferrero. She has illustrated at live events for luxury fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chloé and Balmain.
Anna’s illustrations were commissioned by Poland’s top fashion and lifestyle magazines: Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Newsweek, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and by OOB Magazine from Paris, France. In recent years she has illustrated the Polish edition of the best-selling book „Gone with the Wind” by Margaret Mitchell.
Her work has been featured in Julia Schonlau’s book ‚1000 Portrait Illustrations’ (2012) by Quarry Books and in ‚The Best Polish Illustrators’ (2016) by Slow Foundation.
